Kinetic Rupture Unstoppable

Kinetic weapon damage against a powerful combatant has a chance to create a Kinetic Rupture. Targeting this Rupture causes a damaging explosion that staggers combatants. Strong against Unstoppable Champions.

Sniper's Meditation

Sniper Rifle hits grant stacking Sniper Rifle damage, stability, and reload bonuses for a short time. Heavy ammo Sniper Rifle hits count as more than one hit.

Sword Storm Combo

Performing three Sword light attacks followed by a heavy attack summons penumbral blades that surround you to damage and disorient combatants. Sword final blows extend the duration of these penumbral blades.

Void Infestation

Defeating a weakened target spawns a tracking projectile that weakens other targets.

Tazer Tag

Arc-powered melee hits jolt combatants and deal further damage for a short duration.

Sticker Shock

Arc Flux, Magnetic, and Fusion Grenades deal more damage when attached to combatants; on final blows, they release several micro-missiles that seek nearby combatants.

What are artifact mods in Destiny 2?

Artifact mods are seasonal perks unlocked through the seasonal artifact. They shape your weapons, abilities, and builds for the length of the season, and they retire when the season ends.

How do I unlock artifact mods?

Earning XP levels your artifact and opens its perks. Where a tier requires points spent before it unlocks, that requirement is listed above the tier on this page.

Can there be more than one artifact?

Yes. Some updates offer several artifacts to choose from. When the live game has more than one, this page lists every artifact with its full mod lineup so you can compare before committing to one.

Can lower-slot mods go in higher slots?

Yes. Each slot group adds 7 new mods and also accepts every mod from the groups before it, which is why the last two slots choose from 21 options. This page lists each mod once, in the group where it first becomes available.

Where are the Anti-Barrier mods?

Gone by design. The June 9 update moved champion piercing into weapon archetypes as intrinsic traits, so no artifact mod grants Anti-Barrier anymore. A couple of mods still apply Overload or Unstoppable stuns through abilities, and the Champion Synergy filter collects the mods that reward you for stunning or damaging champions.
