Set Bonuses
2-Piece Taking Initiative
Hitting combatants with melee attacks or Sword strikes grants a stack of Initiative, giving bonus handling and reload. Stacks decay slowly over time.
4-Piece Healing Initiative
While you have Initiative, using your class ability creates a stationary healing aura. The aura gains increased healing based on the number of Initiative stacks.
Where to get it
Dark Age comes from "Warlord's Ruin" Dungeon. You need any four of its five pieces for the full 4-piece bonus, which leaves your fifth slot free for an exotic.

How do I get the Dark Age armor set in Destiny 2?
Dark Age drops from "Warlord's Ruin" Dungeon. Collect four of the five pieces to unlock the full set bonus.
How many pieces do I need for the set bonus?
Two pieces switch on the 2-piece perk and four pieces switch on the stronger 4-piece perk. Any combination of slots counts, so you can run four pieces of the set plus an exotic in your fifth slot without breaking the bonus.
What is the best artifact for a Dark Age build?
Dark Age pairs best with the Slayer Baron Apothecary Satchel artifact this season, since both lean into slow & freeze, class ability, swords. See the artifact mods page for the exact perks to run.
